Our next-gen AGILE Destination Controls terminal showcases our dedication to design and customer-centric service with an intuitive display for maximum convenience and seamless integration with modern building aesthetics.

Our MAX HOME cloud-based solution for predictive maintenance of stairlifts provides peace of mind for users with real-time notifications and diagnostics that ensure maintenance is performed when required to maximize availability.

TKE LAUNCHES EOX; INTRODUCES APRONVISION
The new EOX eco-efficient and digitally native elevator platform contributes to energy efficiency [ E ], puts customers at the centre and goes full circle [ O ] on the needs of everyone who designs, constructs, manages or uses a building, and digitally transforms [ X ] the everyday elevator.

ApronVision, advances fully automated and integrated Apron Operations Systems by enabling full automation and digitalization to the apron, ensuring maximum safety and efficiency, highest turnaround performance, integration with bridge automation technologies, and real-time data of the apron.

TKE launches global smart spare parts strategy
A new state-of-the-art warehouse in Madrid reduces waiting times for elevator spare parts by 20% and saves 10% of travel by service technicians. The initiative includes a sustainability plan for recycling, emissions reduction and protection of the environment.
TKE unveils robotics interface platform; Presents Remote Control Systems for PBBs
The state-of-the-art interface allows robots to move freely regardless of building size or height and reinforces the commitment to creating smarter building transportation solutions through advanced engineering.

Also, Airport Solutions showcases its latest innovation, the Remote Control System, which allows passenger boarding bridges to be safely controlled by an operator at a remote post.

TKE introduces elevator product lines for low- and mid-rise buildings in Europe; Launches VR Showrooms
New ‘synergy’ and ‘evolution’ elevator families save energy and provide maximum space to improve urban mobility by delivering customized mobility solutions.

In addition, new virtual reality showrooms across Asia and the Middle East give visitors an immersive view of new MULTI and TWIN elevators to experience the new transport solutions from the inside out.

TKE launches AGILE, HoloLinc; Opens Rottweil; Presents MULTI
AGILE enables riders to reach their destination faster by efficiently allocating people to elevators by floor. Allows real-time passenger flow adjustment and personalized touchscreens and dial-up terminals.

The new HoloLinc process enables customers to view a stairlift solution in their own homes and get their customized solution up to 4x faster.

TKE opens the iconic Rottweil test tower building, which boasts Germany’s highest observation deck at 232m and is home to the first functional unit of MULTI, the world’s first ropeless and bi-directional elevator.

TKE introduces MAX
MAX, the elevator industry’s first real-time, cloud-based predictive maintenance service solution paves the way for game-changing elevator service.
TKE launches ACCEL
ACCEL, a new moving walkway system that helps alleviate traffic congestion at metro stations and airports helps foster faster urban mobility.
TKE introduces iwalk
iwalk showcases a radical new engineering approach to moving walks with the first pitless modular concept that addresses most conventional design restrictions and offers new possibilities for architects and owners.
TKE opens Innovation Center in Spain
The TK Elevator Innovation Center in Gijón, Spain, becomes home to our most advanced real-scale prototyping laboratory, fostering innovation investment in our modern mobility solutions.
TKE helps passengers board largest aircraft
Airbus and airlines partner with TKE to design and install highly engineered passenger boarding bridges at key airports for the world’s largest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380. The plane measures as long as two blue whales and as tall as five giraffes.
TKE installs first TWIN elevator
TWIN, the world’s first elevator with two independent cabins in one shaft, finds its first of many homes at the University of Stuttgart.
TKE installs world’s longest escalator
At 100 meters long and a 30% slope, the world’s longest escalator at that time goes into operation at the Namesti Miru subway station in Prague, thanks to TKE.
Our beginnings
Our history dates to the 1860s and 1880s with our predecessor companies in Hamburg and Stuttgart, Germany and their first vertical people conveyor, the Paternoster, in 1890 and Germany’s first escalator in 1906. In the 1950s, former Thyssen Industrie acquired a stake in these companies.

After 1970, acquisitions of elevator manufacturers in Germany and Western Europe, and construction of an elevator factory in Neuhausen, advanced our elevator and escalator innovation.
