Pune, 11th December 2022 – TK Elevator is proud to have powered the newly inaugurated Goa International Airport with it’s robust, reliable, and versatile Airport Mobility Solutions, comprising 20 Elevators, 8 Escalators, 5 PBBs, and 6 VDGS to ensure unparalleled comfort, convenience and safety to the passengers. With this landmark project, TK Elevator has created history by becoming the first company ever to offer "Made in India- Passenger Boarding Bridges" in India.
The new Goa International Airport at Mopa has been developed at a cost of around Rs 2,870 crore by the GMR Group, which also operates airports in Delhi, Hyderabad and Nagpur. It will, in the first phase, cater to around 4.4 million passengers per annum (MPPA) on a single runway and can go up to 33 MPPA with two runways.
