TK Elevator

Your desired materials must fulfil some technical requirements in terms of installation height, weight and fire protection class, among other things. Beyond that, there's no limit to your creativity. Only remember that lift cabins, even those considered large, are never the size of a living space. Plain colours, textured materials and wood finishes are therefore popular choices, whereas strong patterns that require a certain distance, may not achieve the intended effect.
Matching the flooring in the lift cabin with the one in the bulding's hallway is one of the most popular customisation choices. That's why the custom floor option for EOX is always available as a standalone. The maximum buildup height of your custom floor is 25 mm, restrictions to weight and choice of materials may apply. Mind: If your tenants are allowed to design the flooring up to the elevator landing themselves, you should best choose a neutral cabin floor design.
Whatever the size of your lift cabin is – adding a mirror will make it look and feel more spacious. Mirrors also create pleasant light reflections and can emphasise a lighting pattern in the ceiling. If your desire is to go beyond the standard choices EOX offers, make sure that your custom mirror fulfils all safety requirements and your design does not impair the passengers' ability to orientate themselves inside the lift cabin.
Indirect lighting, achieved with a suspended ("false") ceiling, instantly makes an elevator ride feel more comfortable. However, there are strict specifications for cabin lighting, including with regard to illuminance.
The handrail in your lift cabin has a purpose: to give passengers support. When choosing a custom handrail for your cabin, make sure that it still serves that purpose. The handrail must also be securely attached and must not present an obstacle when getting in or out.
Whatever the overarching goal of your customised cabin design – an elegant atmosphere, an entertaining elevator ride or the perfectly implemented corporate design – never forget that user-friendliness will always be the decisive criterion for your passengers.
If your project requires a highly customised cabin design, the "naked cabin" – offered as predesigned cabin B90 within EOX design line B – is the ideal choice. This option allows you to order a raw cabin with galvanised steel structural walls, which you can then customise with your own design and materials: cabin wall decor, mirror(s), skirting, handrail and flooring. A cabin operating panel of your choice as well as the standard LED cabin light source will always be included.
Your TK Elevator sales representative will gladly assist in the realisation of your custom cabin.
