TK Elevator Leaders Share what’s Shaping 2025 and Beyond

Safety

Safety is a core value that guides all operations and business at TK Elevator. Our unwavering commitment is to get people home safe every day.

“Whether it’s our employees, customers or passengers, we recognize that safety is achieved through fostering a consistent culture of care and responsibility,” says Senior Vice President of Occupational Health and Safety, Lou DeLoreto.

Among key safety issues, for many employees, in today's workplace is emergency preparedness and addressing critical incidents like natural disasters and active shooter situations.

“All TKE branches have emergency preparedness plans including a digital check-in and check-out system for our employees,” says DeLoreto. “But we also recognize that there seems to be more and more environmental impacts in more of our locations than before, so ensuring we meet, practice and plan and constantly create awareness is essential and supports our “We Get Home” mission.

Sustainability

Sustainability goals are crucial to TKE’s business strategy. As one of the world’s leading elevator manufacturers, we know we have a significant role in making buildings greener and more efficient.

That’s why TKE is focused on lowering embodied carbon (the amount of greenhouse gases emitted by building construction) by integrating those reductions into the design.

“TKEs offer a full line of products with up-to-date Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) that drive the elevator industry forward in advancing sustainability,” says Monica Brown director of sustainability. “Our EOX elevator, in particular, has less embodied carbon compared to previous MRL [machine room-less] models.”

Products & Services

A great deal of impactful work is beginning in 2025 and beyond, including the build and installation of dozens of elevators (including passenger and freight) and escalators for the new Tennessee Titans stadium, a complete modernization project at New York City’s iconic Mandarin Oriental hotel, and work on a 45-elevator project for what will be the largest casino in North Carolina.

“This is just a snapshot of projects TKE won in 2024, and many of them were a result of the relationships we’ve built with customers and our reputation in the industry,” says Executive Vice President of Sales Kevin Robertson.
