TK Elevator appoints Bora Gülan as CEO of its elevator and escalator business in Europe and Africa
Düsseldorf, March 15, 2023 – Bora Gülan has been appointed CEO of TK Elevator’s European and African elevator and escalator business.
In his new role, Bora will take end-to-end responsibility for the operations and management of the company’s elevator and escalator business in Europe and Africa. He will also be a member of the company’s global senior leadership team and report directly to CEO Uday Yadav.

Bora Gülan brings over 25 years of leadership experience. After overseeing the merger of his family-owned elevator business in Turkey with Otis, he held several increasingly senior and high-impact leadership positions at Otis and United Technologies Corporation. His last role at Otis was as President of the North and Central European region.
Bora holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Bosphorus University in Istanbul, and further executive education degrees from INSEAD and Oxford University.
